Keeping Beaminster Tidy!

Caring for our environment, and keeping it clean and tidy, are top priorities for local Liberal Democrats. We strongly believe in working together to make our area a better place to live.
Former Beaminster District Councillor, Caroline Payne, attended the litter pick and said: “We had a very good time out litter picking, and whilst there was not very much fresh litter, there were a lot of old items.
“All the rubbish we collected was disposed of responsibly. I’m looking forward to going out litter picking again soon!”
I was particularly concerned to see how much old plastic we found. Some of these plastics can poison the soil and cause serious harm.
