Lib Dem Kate Reid Wins with 480 Votes in Dorchester By-Election

Kate received 480 votes - twice the vote of the second place Green candidate. Conservatives and Labour saw their votes dramatically reduced.
Kate has already made a start representing our community at the Town Council taking on casework from across the ward. Alongside Cllrs Stella Jones, Rory Major, Fiona Kent-Ledger and the entire Dorchester Lib Dem team, Kate will continue to work hard for you and keep in touch all year round.
This result shows that the Lib Dems are winning in West Dorset. Parliamentary candidate Edward Morello said: “Kate will be a fantastic voice for Dorchester. All across the South West, the Lib Dems have shown that we are winning”.
