Lib Dems Win in Sherborne West

The Liberal Democrats also secured a victory in the recent Dorset Council by-election in Sherborne West.
New councillor Richard Crabb was elected with 559 votes. The Conservatives finished in second place, while Labour placed a distant third.
The result shows that the Lib Dems are delivering for Sherborne, and that we are the only party that can beat the Conservatives here.
Sherborne East Councillor Jon Andrews said:
“Richard’s result is fantastic for Sherborne. He has already got stuck in as a Dorset Councillor, and he will help me and the Lib Dem team get the best deal for Sherborne.”
