Road Safety Action Needed Now

Liberal Democrat campaigner Paul Fitzpatrick is committed to making the A3066 safer for all road users.
Residents across the ward have told us that safety on the road is a top priority.
The Lib Dems would like to see further safety measures introduced on the road. This includes a 20mph speed limit where people are, more pedestrian crossings, and keeping traffic and pedestrians further apart.
Paul said: “We all know how dangerous the A3066 can be. Our Parish Councils and volunteers are doing as much as they can to help make things safer. But Conservative- run Dorset Council need to step up and make road safety a top priority.”
Dorset Council need to make road safety a top priority.
The Lib Dems already have a record of action on road safety. The current stretch of 20mph through Beaminster was achieved after years of lobbying by former Lib Dem Councillor, Gil Streets.
Paul added: “The Lib Dems have always been the voice of residents when it comes to road safety, and we will continue to be that voice.”
