Supporting young families in Bridport
Lib Dem Councillor Bridget Bolwell was proud to visit the Bridport Family Hub, based at the former Children’s Centre on Skilling Hill Road.
The Hub offers a wide range of support and activities for families in the area, including breastfeeding support, parenting courses, young parent groups, youth and family advice sessions, a health visitor clinic, and so much more.
Cllr Bridget Bolwell, who is also the chair of Dorset Council's Corporate Parenting Board, said: ”It was good to see the fantastic work being done at the hub. Every child deserves the best start in life. I'm proud of the work Lib Dem-run Dorset Council is doing to support our fantastic Family Hubs, including here in Bridport.
“That means ensuring families can access the support they need close to home, when they need it most.”
