There was a time when British soldiers were the best trained and best led soldiers in the world. Of course, the same could be said of the Zulu's they fought at Rork'e Drift. The Zulu's died while our soldiers lived. They had short stabbing spears, and we had Lee Enfields!

Special Focus for West Park area
Park Ward Lib Dems have delivered a special Focus to residents around the West Park. It features the theft and destruction of rubbish bins round the Park, dangerous paving slabs and damage to the grassed areas by anti social parking. Action against cars ruining grassed verges
Park Ward residents are furious at the considerable damage is being done to grass verges all round the West Park because of inconsiderate and inappropriate parking. Spurred on by Lib Dem Councillor Robin Lawrence Wolverhampton Council will fine drivers who park on the grassed areas and pavements.
