Battle for Play Areas Alcohol Ban to Continue
The campaign to see alcohol banned from play areas will continue after the issue was deferred once again by Bedford Borough Council's Licensing Committee.

Leas Bandstand Concert this evening
Shepway Council have announced at short notice that the choir and musicians from Ashfield School in Nottingham will be giving a special concert on the Leas Bandstand this evening, 30th June, from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Street "Clutter" harming Local Businesses
A recent expert report considered by Epsom & Ewell councillors claims that the prospects for successful local businesses in Epsom town centre are being harmed by "street clutter". This includes unnecessary posts, over-large road signs and especially broken and disused lamp posts etc.
