Bogus workman claiming to be from the water board in order to try to gain access to peoples homes were seen in Charles Crescent on Sunday. The police were called after one resident raised the alarm.
Commenting on reports that the Government's White Paper on House of Lords reform will suggest a chamber half-elected and half-appointed, Liberal Democrat Shadow Constitutional Affairs Secretary, Simon Hughes MP said: "Whatever the contents of the White Paper, Liberal Democrats will continue to press for a predominately elected second chamber.
